Official Constance Lake First Nation Bylaws

To maintain the safety, governance, and well-being of our community, the Chief and Council of Constance Lake First Nation have adopted a series of bylaws under the authority of CLFN. These bylaws reflect our commitment to community harmony, accountability, and respect for Ojibway and Cree traditions.

All current bylaws are published here for the benefit of our members and visitors. By posting these publicly, we ensure that all individuals have access to the community rules, responsibilities, and processes expected on Constance Lake First Nation territory.

Our bylaws cover a range of areas such as property management, trespassing, community conduct, environmental stewardship, and more. Compliance with these bylaws helps protect our land, support peaceful coexistence, and uphold the values of CLFN.

Community members are encouraged to review the bylaws periodically and direct any inquiries or suggestions to Council, Band Administration, or our By-law Officer at 705-463-4511 ext. 107. All reported concerns or alleged violations will be addressed in accordance with the procedures set forth in the respective bylaws.
